12 October, 2016:    Be Ware of the trap of Syria; danger of escalation into a war with Russia if we are not careful.

Story 1:   The leader of Russia cancelled his meeting with the leader of France.  More harsh words on both sides; in the distance, a somber warning from former Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev.  We have to be careful with Syria.  This could lead to another Cuban Missile crisis; this time I do not think Russia will back down.  For one, they will support the current government there; for two we have nothing to trade; for three, we are in their backyard.   One of the problems here is that we have leaders that do not have the background in life experiences to negotiate a solution or that have the background chops to come up with appropriate policy chops.
